Union Community Care Announces Partnership with Foxwynd Foundation to Expand Women’s Reproductive Health Services
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Union Community Care is proud to announce a new partnership with the Foxwynd Foundation that will expand access to women’s reproductive health services across Lancaster, Lebanon, and Coatesville. Through this partnership, Union has received $50,000 to support reproductive health care for women who are uninsured or underinsured in the communities we serve.
This generous donation will help remove financial and systemic barriers to care while strengthening the quality, continuity, and compassion of reproductive health services offered at Union.
“Foxwynd Foundation is proud to support organizations that strengthen community health and well-being. Our partnership with Union Community Care helps ensure people can access vital services with care, respect, and consistency.”
— Pamela Villagra, Executive Director, Foxwynd Foundation
Expanding Access to Essential Care
The funding will be used to increase access to long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) and to enhance trauma-informed, patient-centered contraceptive counseling and follow-up. Cost remains one of the most significant barriers preventing women from accessing comprehensive reproductive health care, and this partnership allows Union to provide critical services at no cost to those who need them most.
A Shared Commitment to Community Health
Union Community Care provides high-quality, compassionate care to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. This partnership with the Foxwynd Foundation reflects a shared commitment to advancing community health, empowering women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health, and ensuring access to respectful, comprehensive care close to home.
We are grateful to the Foxwynd Foundation for its investment in the health and well-being of women and families in Lancaster, Lebanon, and Coatesville. Together, we are working to build healthier communities and expand access to care where it is needed most. The Foxwynd Foundation DAF funded the Foxwynd Foundation’s generous donation to Union Community Care.
